Emma Nicolaysen Wins Best Poster Award

 

First-year Neuroscience and Public Policy program graduate student Emma Nicolaysen earned the Best Graduate or Research Specialist Poster Award at the 2026 Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Dementias (ADRD) Research Day. Her winning poster, KLOTHO KL-VS heterozygosity attenuates the association between age-related neurodegeneration and subsequent decline in executive function in a cohort of cognitively unimpaired middle-aged and older adults, highlights her work thus far as a member of the Okonkwo Lab.
