Research Description:
My research interests lie in pattern recognition, data mining, and image analysis for automated computerized diagnostic, prognostic and treatment evaluation solutions using radiologic imaging. My research has so far evolved into over 50 peer-reviewed journal and conference papers, over 50 peer-reviewed abstracts, 4 issued patents. I have been a recipient of Case-Coulter Translational awards from 2013 to 2015 and was twice nominated for NIH Director’s Early Independence Award.
I am currently leading a team of researchers on evaluating short and long-term effects of radiotherapy on brain tumor patients via multi- parametric MRI. Additionally, I have experience in employing quantitative radiomic, radiogenomic, radiopathomic methods for prognosis of patient outcome in adult and more recently in pediatric brain tumor patients.
