Yilei Dong

I was born and raised in Los Angeles, but have lived in San Diego, Seattle, and China at various points in my life. In my free time, I enjoy volleyball, sewing, cooking, and trying new food places! Research-wise, my interests broadly consist of neuroimaging, cognition, neurology, and neurodevelopment.

My interest in neuroscience career-wise was largely fostered by my involvement in an undergraduate neuroscience club, which made research opportunities and knowledge in the field more accessible. Now with NTP Outreach, I’m excited to engage with the general public about the importance of neuroscience as a field and its relevance in our daily lives.
