Research Interest:

I’m interested in understanding the mechanisms of action of novel treatments for anxiety and depression. More specifically, I am currently investigating the effects of rapid-acting antidepressants like ketamine and psilocybin on anxiety-related behaviors in non-human primates (NHPs). I am also studying the role of different receptor systems in the mechanisms of action of ketamine and psilocybin in NHPs through in vivo positron emission tomography (PET) and ex vivo autoradiography.
