Kathleen Bai

As a scientist, I am interested in studying the neurobiological mechanisms of neurodegeneration, as well as the role of glial cells and neuroinflammation in neurodegenerative diseases. Outside of laboratory, I am also an artist and musician.

I joined NTP Outreach to share my enthusiasm about studying the brain and inspire others to be curious about the unanswered questions in neuroscience. My goals are to increase public understanding of the work neuroscientists do and to foster interest about neuroscience among future generations.
