The NTP is excited to announce that two members of our community were awarded 2025 UW Madison Bucky Awards!
Uma Chatterjee, a year 2 NTP student, was awarded the Graduate School Student Commitment to Engagement and Activism Award! This award recognizes graduate students who promote social justice, equity, and inclusion in their graduate degree department and or on campus.
Dr. Michael Cahill is an Associate Professor in the Department of Comparative Biosciences. He was awarded the Best Advisor Award. This recognizes an advisor who excels in guiding their students and/or organization to success, provides a welcoming environment, and challenges and supports their group.
Chatterjee and Cahill received these awards on April 6th, 2025 at the Bucky’s Awards Ceremony. We are extremely proud of all their accomplishments!
