Research Description:
I currently work to investigate the therapeutically relevant mechanism of action of psychedelic drugs in the treatment of psychiatric disorders. Specifically, I am looking at the role of synaptic plasticity and acute stress in the action of psilocybin in a rodent model of depression using in vivo electrophysiological and behavioral techniques.
