Research Description:

I have a broad training and background in Neuroscience, with over a decade of experience in studying the organization and function of retinal synapses and visual circuits. My research employs a multifaceted toolkit combining murine transgenic approaches with high resolution light and electron microscopy, molecular biology and electrophysiology techniques. The objective of my research is to determine the mechanisms that regulate the formation, maturation and function of retinal circuits.
