        Established in 1971, the Neuroscience Training Program is one of the oldest in the country. Of the more than 128 students who have earned the Ph.D. degree, more than 90 percent have careers in biomedical sciences. As of Spring 2007:

• 39% Tenure-track faculty
• 15% Postdocs (within 5 years of graduation)
• 12% MDs/residents or medical students
• 11% Biotech Industry
• 5% Administration at NIH or Academic Institutions
• 3% Science Writers
