Beta Chapter

  1. All presenters must be members of the SDE/GWIS Beta Chapter.
  2. All presenters should be in 175 New Biochemistry Bldg., 433 Babcock Dr. at 5:00 p.m. on the evening of the Competition to register and confirm the order of your presentations.
  3. Each presenter should provide her/his own computer. If you wish to test the projection of your slides or a computer before the competition, please arrive no later than 4:45 p.m.
  4. Each person has a total of 15 minutes to present AND answer questions. The length of your presentation should not exceed 10 minutes. Five minutes of questions from the audience will follow each presentation.
  5. The judging and awarding of prizes will take place immediately after the last presentation.
  6. Contestants and finalists will participate in a photo opportunity immediately following the awarding of prizes.
  7. Refreshments will be provided.
  8. You are encouraged to invite colleagues, advisors, family and friends to attend.
